So, instead of heading via the normal route, let’s take a shortcut from the Demon Ruins to Lost Izalith. Near the end of your run through the Demon Ruins, you come to a large fog gate, behind which is the Demon Firesage. On the right, before the fog wall, there is a shortcut down to a large door. Follow the tree branches down, and you come to a big door. If you aren’t a Daughter of Chaos +2, you need the pyromancy flame equipped and the poison mist pyromancy. Be warned, this method has worked for me twice, and not worked for me once. I don’t know what I did wrong that one time, but be careful.
